Clark RC Park announces the Labor Day Challenge
Date: July 21st, 2010
Info:
Fresh off the success of the "Summer Showdown" we are proud to announce the "Labor Day Challenge". The next big trophy event will be held September 6th,2010 and we are hoping for a larger turnout than the showdown. Classes will include truggy, buggy and short course and we will again have trophies for each class with plaques going to the top qualifiers. On top of that there will be a 10-lap shootout after the mains with the top 3 buggy and truggy drivers competing in a marshall-free race for another trophy. Thats right, you land on your lid, you're done. And as if you needed any more reason to get out to race, we have manufactuer support for this event supplying us with prizes and give aways! Make sure you mark the calendar, you don't want to miss out on this one!

Classes and Times Re-Announced!
Date: May 26th, 2010

Info: The track will open at noon with racing starting at 2:00. As for the practice days, the times will be from 4 till 8.  I will due my best to have everything running smoothly but keep in mind we may have some technical issues with the new equipment. For classes we are going to try and focus on the 1/8 scale off road. So we will have 1/8 truggy, 1/8 buggy, both nitro and electric. A nitro rookie class that we will run all types together and we will also run nitro monster trucks if there is an interest. Sorry but as of now we are not going to run electric short coarse trucks. I know there is some interest but until we get a handle on actually running some races that class will have to wait. I hope everyone understands. In the future we may add classes. UPDATE: we will include short course trucks in our race program beginning in June. Now for the racing format. We will run 2- 6 minute qualifiers and the mains. Mains for truggy and buggy will be 15 minutes and other classes will be 10 mins. Hope to see some new faces out here. If anyone would be interested in running the timing system/race director PM me or send me an email at tcflyr@tds.net
